Elizabeth Soper

Elizabeth Soper has worked for NWF in their Northeast office as their education manager since 1996. In her position, Liz works directly with local communities to help protect and enhance wildlife habitat, reduce global warming and implement NWF's Backyard and Schoolyard Habitat programs. Liz is also involved in several professional development programs for educators including a Forest for Every Classroom and Kids for Karners. Previously, Liz worked for the Lake Champlain Basin Program as their Education Coordinator, was a classroom elementary teacher and spent several years as a research assistant with the U.S. Forest Service working on grizzly bear and bighorn sheep habitat research. She holds a B.S. in Wildlife Management from the University of Vermont and a Masters in Education from the University of Oregon.
